Hi Everyone, I know I am WAY behind in my posts, but I will just have to come back and do those a little later. Right now, I have much more important news and photos to share … our new bundle of joy: Alexander James Gingras. He was born on June 12th, here in France and is absolutely perfect (in our eyes, at least).
Both Grandmas (or Mémé in French) were here for the auspicious occasion and have been an ongoing help the first week.
So, here he is:
This is an image about 5 minutes after he was born.
These next pictures are from his first day. Mommy and Alexander HAD to match. 🙂
This is his first day in his new home. He is dressed in a very chic hat hand made by one of my French teachers in Washington DC, Ramata.
So, that will have to suffice for now. Rest assured, I will be posting MANY more pictures in the coming days.
Until then…

Jim & Anna, congratulations! We are so excited about the birth of your son, Alexander! We are glad that mommy and son are doing well and both look more beautiful than ever. We wish the three of you good health and restful nights. We miss you!
Love – Jen & Andy
Bisous,
Ramata
What a lovely little boy here!!!!!!
Congratulations to the parents and more again to Anna who’s made all of the job, isn’t it?
Alexander is very very nice and he already had “les traits fins” on his face. I think all of the girls will fall when he’ll be teenager… Be carefull Jim and Anna, Alexander will be not a long time at home!
I hope we’ll can organize a meeting enters Amandine and Alexander this august; maybe is it possible in Lançon de provence by Marin’s.
See you
Nicolas
Lois forwarded your announcement to me. Congratulations! He is so beautiful! That little boy is so blessed to have you two as his parents! I know that yours will be a very wonderful family and he will have many advantages that most parents can only dream of.
I don’t know if you have heard my news. I retired on July 31, ’09 when CE was outsourced to a contractor. On August 15 I married an old friend who had been widowed for 1 1/2 years. His wife was a friend of mine, as well. I have moved to his home, a little town in Arkansas, and am learning to be a twosome for the first time in 25 years.
We never know how life will change us, do we?
Jim and Anna:
Congratulations, a beautiful baby boy. June 12 was the day of my daughter Claire’s graduation party and your mother mailed us a note saying that she was heading to France for the impending birth — good thing she wasn’t at our party!
